Your darling has proposed to you, you know are at the startling line and begin a plan of attack. “Where are you getting married?” : this is probably the very first question everyone will ask you! To reassure the couple seeking the room of their dreams, up to Audrey Delporte, expert in the field. As a wedding planner, her tips and tricks to find THE reception hall for your wedding that are most valuable …

How far in advance should I book the party room?
This is the first element to find. Once the date and availability checked with the council (and possibly the place of worship), the couple must start looking at the place of their dreams. Within the agency Auradelia I set up a file of nearly 300 rooms, regularly updated. We set the search criteria with the couple and then I’ll show them the places most suitable.
How to Choose?
Several factors must be taken into account:
- The capacity of the room depending on the number of guests: a room too large decreases the atmosphere, a room too small makes the service difficult and limits the possibilities of dance
- The location : How far you accept to be between the civil ceremony, the cocktail and dinner?
- The equipment : kitchen, tables, chairs, decoration, park or garden terrace, private parking, lighting types ( ability to dim the lights)
- The framework : in search of a rural, rustic, modern, simple, colorful? The place chosen stick’s wrong with the theme of decoration planned? A large hall, smaller rooms: what to choose?
A single reception room is always better. Guests prefer to be married and with a view of the dance floor. By cons, if the room has an adjacent room, it can be used for playing and sleeping children.
Is Michaels still open? This website doesn’t inform me of anything. Where is the official Michaels at shoreline website?
I wonder if Michaels at shoreline will allow gay marriage to take place? Could someone please let me know. Thanks Todd
